Dr. Roberto Montenegro is a Yale-trained, board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist who provides general psychiatric care and also specializes in ADHD, providing care for individuals with high-stakes jobs, and behavioral challenges in children and adolescents. With additional fellowship training at the University of Washington (UW) and Seattle Children’s Hospital, Dr. Montenegro brings an evidence-based, research-driven approach to treatment. He is one of Washington's few bilingual (Spanish-speaking) child psychiatrists, providing culturally responsive care to diverse communities.

My Approach
My practice provides individualized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. My in-depth evaluations are informed by the person’s unique biological, psychological, and social background and lived experiences. I provide psychotherapy and medication management. I have a particular interest and expertise in cross-cultural psychiatry, caring for people of diverse backgrounds, and providing mental health services to physicians and other individuals with public and/or high-stakes careers. I am licensed in WA, CA, and AK.
