Roberto Montenegro, MD, PhD

Psychiatrist (Child, Adolescent, and Adult)

Our Team

Our team offers tailored psychiatric care across all ages, focusing on comprehensive evaluations that consider each individual's biological, psychological, social aspects, and history. Specializing in psychotherapy and medication management, we have a strong emphasis on cross-cultural psychiatry, gender-affirming care, and evidence-based practices. For both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry, we provide strong general psychiatric care. However, within adult psychiatry, we are particularly adept at supporting adults with ADHD and professionals in high-stress roles (e.g. physicians, lawyers, CEOs). Within child and adolescent psychiatry, we have experts in autism, developmental delay, transgender mental health care, ADHD, anger, and irritability. We see patients across Alaska, California, Maine, Massachusetts, and Washington.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • *Dr. Montenegro accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield (except Premera), First Choice, and Lyra. Dr. Conant and Dr. Glass accept only Blue Cross Blue Shield (except Premera). We are considered “out-of-network” providers for any other insurance panels.

*The patient pays for all services in full by credit card through a secure patient portal.

*If requested, we will provide a reimbursement form, or “superbill,” so patients and families can submit out-of-network claims to their insurance companies.

  • Many insurance plans typically cover 60–80% of out-of-network (OON) fees if you submit a superbill claim. We have exciting news! We've teamed up with Reimbursify to help with this process.

Start by using our complimentary OON benefits check to learn about your benefit details and estimate out-of-pocket costs following reimbursement.

If you become one of our patients, you can use our Reimbursify service to submit your superbill for easy reimbursements at no additional cost! The reimbursement will be delivered directly to you. Leave the stress of dealing with your insurance to our Reimbursify team and instead focus on your wellness.

Remember to check your benefits, including if you have met your deductibles. On average, if you have met your full deductible, you can subtract 60 to 80% (depending on your OON reimbursement benefits) for a more accurate final cost.
